A Box of Stories Subscription Service

Posted on 17 January 2024 By Graham No Comments on A Box of Stories Subscription Service

I recently signed back up for the subscription service from A Box of Stories. Their mission is to save as many books as possible from landfill. It costs £24.99 (frequency depending, I chose quarterly)

According to the website, 77 million books a year in the UK are destroyed, and 83% of them are pulped before they are even read. 200k books are published each year and of them, 17% are lucky enough to make it to the bestseller lists. Every third box you also get a free book.

Being a book lover I love the idea of saving these books from being destroyed. At the same time, you can be introduced to books that you may not have ever read. They offer several types of boxes and because I love them I chose the Science Fiction & Fantasy box. I got my second one today, I will do a post when I receive them.

If you are a book lover like me and can afford it this is something worth doing. The books can sometimes be a mixed bag and I have had some that I am not that interested in but overall this is a great way to find some new reads.

Visit A Box of Stories to look at what they have on offer.
